CISA BOARD MEETING

SEPTEMBER 7, 2005

Call to order: 7:37 pm

Approval of Minutes: Seconded and carried.

Officers present: Ginny Ciriot, Erin Ciriot, Mesha Williams, Micky Bell, Rhett Quade, Kim Longenbaugh, Pam Richardson, Carey Casey, Becky Livingston, Kelly Ortiz, David Jones.

Fields Status Report: Fields were fertilized in late August. Ant bait was also distributed. Rye grass to be spread in late September.

Unfinished Business:

Parking Lot: The city has completed repaving the parking lot. Alex to speak with city manager concerning striping.

Concessions: Toby McCrory has signed contract and paid $150 bond to handle the concession stand. She may also bring in a second stand.

Officer’s / Director’s Reports:

VP: Everything looks good. Will be leaving in October, any questions regarding TOC to be directed to Alex Macias.

Treasurer: $47,800 in checking, 2 CD’s and a savings account were opened at Heritage National Bank. There are still 522 outstanding checks.

Registrar: 40-50 people have not paid registration fees. Rosters completed and entered. U10 teams are full. Late registration will be accepted until the third game of the season. Late registration fee of $25 applies.

Fundraiser: Goal from fundraiser hopes to be $32,000. Decals have been ordered for sale at concession stand. Pam to speak with Toby about buying leftover candy from fundraiser last season @ $20 per box.

Equipment: All uniforms are in and will be passed out Thursday September 8, 2005. Goalie gloves and cones are in. Coaches bags have not come in as of yet.

Commissioners:

U6: There are 16 teams using 3 fields. There are still a couple spots left.

U8: Not present

U10: Teams full. No report.

ML: There are 15 teams 3 that play in Arlington.

Referee Assignor: Will have a referee mentor soon, and re-certification in October.

Property Manager: Dirt has been spread, more needed. Problem with sprinkler heads, new one’s to cost $14 a piece. We are short 2 sets of bleachers. New porta potties are in place. Dumpster on north end of parking lot to be moved to south end. New flags are in.
