MINUTES OF THE CISA BOARD

CROWLEY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OFFICE

September 8th, 2004

 

The meeting was called to order at 7:44 p.m.

 

Officers Present:  David Jones, Alex Macias, Traci Lee, Ginny Ciriot, Becky Livingston, Marty Stringer, Rhett Quade,  Kelly Ortiz, Ed Brungardt, and Kim Lonenbaugh.

 

Visitors:

Steve Beck and a group of parents and kids came to discuss the boards ruling about their team becoming a tournament team that included moving 2 kids from 2 other existing teams to their tournament team.

 

Vice President:  Discussed if there would be any benefits to having more than 2 team formation nights.

 

Treasurer:  We have a checking account balance of $38,412.44.  Motion to allow up to $14,500 to pay of the land payment early, seconded and carried.  We have numerous returned checks.  A letter will be issued, stating that if the check amount plus the return fee is not paid the child will be pulled from the team.

 

U6 Commissioner:  We have 8 U5 teams and 8 U6 teams.  The fields will be setup tomorrow.

 

U8 Commissioner:  We have 8 U7 Boys, 5 U7 Girls, 4 U8 Boys, and 3 U8 Girls teams.  The fields will be done tomorrow.

 

Major Leage:  We have 8 Boys teams, and 7 Girls teams, and we have 2 refunds that need to be issued.

 

Registration:  Once a location for pictures is set we will have the exact dates, but they will be held on Monday and Thursday.

 

Fund Raiser:  The last day for the fund raiser will be September 25th.

 

Equipment:  Uniforms will be issued on Thursday at 7:30 at the CYA complex..

 

Referee Assignor:  2 referee classes were held, and we have about 60 referees.  The fields will be running all day due to the number of teams.

 

Fields:  There are 2 leaks in the sprinkler system that need to be fixed at the fields.  Motion made to continue with the current field maintenance agreement through the end of the year, seconded and carried.

 

Motion to adjourn made at 9:41pm.

 

The next meeting will be held on Monday, October 4th.
