MINUTES OF THE CISA BOARD

CROWLEY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OFFICE

7/7/03

The meeting was called to order at 7:32 p.m.

Officers Present: David Jones, Kim Longenbaugh, Kelly Ortiz, Ginny Ciriot, Laura Sotelo, Marty Stringer, Kyle Davis, Traci Lee, Ed Brungardt, and Pauline Jones.

Read and approved the minutes with amendments.

Herman Hutson, from the Dallas Sidekicks, came to explain the 2003 Soccer Partner Program. We will table the discussion until the August board meeting.

A motion to nominated Alex Macias as U8 commissioner was seconded, and carried.

President: The Budget Numbers need to be turned in for the August meeting. The board potions still open are: Metroplex U8 girls Commissioner, U10 commissioner, and the Fields Commissioner.

Treasurer: Our current balance is $8, 519.13, and we have 4 checks that come back with insufficient funds. We have numerous checks outstanding that have not cleared.

Registration: A motion for registration fees to go up to $70 for the fall season was seconded and carried. Turn in any dates for the registration flier to Ed Brungardt this week.

Fund Raiser: There are still coaches that we need to collect candy money from.

Equipment: 14 sets of uniforms have been ordered for the U6 program. Any alternate uniforms will need to be purchased by the coach, not through CISA. There will not be any special requests for uniform numbers.

New Business:

Motion to ban a coach from coaching, seconded and carried.

Motion to change the referee fees for centers to age plus $6.00, and for lines ½ age plus $5.00, seconded and carried.

Announcements:

At the Albertson’s grand opening, David Jones was presented a check in the amount of $300.00 for CISA.

Meeting was adjourned at 9:20pm
