CISA Board Meeting

June 13,2007

All Sports Complex

 

 

Officer’s present: Ginny Ciriot, Anna Martinez, Carolyn Payne, Clint Reed,

Richard Thompson, Eric Daughtry, Carey Casey

 

Call to order: 7:00 pm

 

Field Status Report: Kit has spread the 5 loads of dirt on main complex, has 2 for park side, but feels need 2 more.  He will order, and spread when can.  Miscommunicated with Josh about attending tonight.  Both to attend the July meeting.

 

Approval of minutes:  Motioned and seconded to approve May minutes

Unfinished business:

            VP election: Ginny Ciriot nominated and elected

            Electrical: City will not allow line to be placed across parking lot.  Will need to go west then north.  Will need to contract with electrician to work with TXU

            City proposal: City is requesting cost information from us for budgeting            purposes on the park side fields maintenance.

            Field contract:  deferred to July

            Referee Assignor:  2 candidates are interested, information on duties given to board and on both candidates.  Ginny excused self due to being related to 1  candidate.  Vote in favor of Erin Ciriot being assignor.

Parade:  CISA to have float in Freedom parade 7/7.  Will and Carey to set up.

 

Officer’s/ Director’s Reports:

            VP: No pending problems.  Will notify new Assignor and send to class

            Treasurer: $22,997 in checking account.  Current year to date budget is over, but we have not received picture money.

Registrar:  Not present, registration dates 7/7, 7/14, & 7/21, with 7/28 unannounced.  Will use Pappy’s (Freedom Celebration 7/7) all dates andCVS 7/7, 21, 28 and Walgreen’s 7/14, 21, 28.  Online active till 8/4 for late registrations.

            Fundraiser:  Will look at opportunities for fundraiser and pictures at AGM, will mail out the gift cards to winners

            Equipment: NP

            Coaching Directors:  Eric will get with David on clinics

            Commissioners:        

                        U6: everything OK, to work on recruiting coaches after registration

                        U8: getting geared up, contacting previous U6 coaches

                        U10: No report.

                        ML: No report, Metroplex is looking into having a league for older player

Property manager: NP

 

New Business:

            BISA U7/8 proposal: they are requesting changes.  Clint, Will, & Ginny to meet

Fall schedule: Coaches meetings 8/6 & 9, field day 8/18, scrimmages the week of 8/20, and first game 9/8.  Need dates for coaches/players clinics and referee clinics.  TOC will be 10/13.

            Logo: Carolyn brought some to review.  Will copy and have at next meeting.

North Texas AGM:  Schedule of meetings just out.  Anyone planning to attend must be on list.  Notify Will if attending.

            Sponsorships:  Propose to have a mid year reduced rate for fall (field $600-1000) Gold $425, Silver $275, Bronze $150, and friend of soccer $80.  This will also have a 10% discount for renewals in 2008 for all sponsors.  Approved

            FC Dallas: They have a ticket deal for groups.  Clint will pass the word.
