MINUTES OF THE CISA BOARD

CROWLEY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OFFICE

6/3/03

The meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m.

Officers Present: David Jones, Kim Longenbaugh, Kelly Ortiz, Ginny Ciriot, Laura Sotelo, Marty Stringer, Kyle Davis, Traci Lee, Ed Brungardt, and Pauline Jones.

President: We welcome all of the new board members to this new term, and thank you for volunteering. We are still in need of an under 8 commissioner.

Vice President: We need to get a work night scheduled so we can get the fields ready for the up coming season.

Major League Commissioner: He needs a list of the coaches for his age group.

Registration: The fliers will go out to the schools on August 19^th. Registration dates will be, August 2^nd, 14^th, 16^th, and 23^rd. The mail outs to last seasons players will go out August 17^th and 18^th. Team formation will be held August 26^th and 28^th. The season is to begin on September 8.

Concessions: We need to find out the numbers for last season.

Fund Raiser: Coaches still have money that has not been turned into Kyle. A motion to give the left over candy to the concession stand to sell was seconded and carried.

New Business:

CYA has land for sale behind the baseball diamonds that we need to have a committee handle negotiations for this land. Ed, Marty, Ginny and David will make up the committee.

There is a recommendation of the previous board up for discussion that we are going to table until next month.

A motion to go with the highbury uniform through Soccer Etc. was seconded and carried.

Financials need to be closed, so we need to get the candy money collected from the coaches.

Budget numbers need to be sent to David Jones in the next two weeks, so we can do the budget at the next board meeting.

The High School is holding a soccer camp August 23^rd through 27^th for $85.

The AGM is being held July 11 through the 13^th.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:20pm, and the next meeting will be held July 7^th.
