CISA Board Meeting

May 9, 2007

All Sports Complex

 

 

Officer’s present: Ginny Ciriot, Erin Ciriot, Will Epps, Jerry Cross, Carolyn Payne, Rodney Reyna, and Carey Casey.  Guests: Clint Reed, Alex Macias, and Tutter Richardson.

 

Call to order: 6:44 PM

 

Approval of minutes: Seconded and approved.

 

Field status report: New field contract needed.  Spot seeding and fertilizing will be done in June.

 

Unfinished business:

Equipment Director/ Nomination/ election: Motion to nominate Tutter Richardson, seconded and approved.  Tutter accepted the position and was voted in.

Coaching Director/ Nomination/ election: Motion to nominate David Jones as Minor League director seconded and approved.  Motion to nominate Eric Daughtry as Minor League director seconded and approved.  Nomination for David Jones was accepted and voted in.  Nomination for Eric Daughtry still pending acceptance.

            Field layout: Discussions held and  field design decided.  Changes made after fall season.

Electrical: Alex had Lance who works for Oncor( was TXU) out to look at the complex and potential electrical Connections.  He will advise us as to his findings.

Camp: Will is still looking into cost and all details pertaining to holding a camp this year. 

            City proposal: Ginny has not heard back from the city.

            Field contract: New contract needed.  Rodney to start bidding process.

 

Officer’s/Director’s reports:

VP: There were some issues with Burleson that have been addressed and handled.  Will officially resigned as VP.

            Treasurer: Not present.  No report.

Registrar: Not present.  Early registration to be held May 12.  Regular registration to be held July 7, 14, 21, 28.  Team formation July 29.  Coach’s meeting August 6 & 9.

Fundraiser: Pizza party with limo ride for top sellers was held on May 2, 19 attended.  Motion made to accept gift cards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd, in the amounts of $100, $75 (x2) and $50 (x2) was seconded and approved.

            Equipment: Trophies for U8 and under are in.

 

Commissioners:

                        U6: Not present

                        U8: Not present

                        U10: Not present

                        ML: No report

 

Coaching Director: Not present.

 

Property Manager: Fields need work. 

 

New Buisness:

Referee Assignor: Job requirements: Must be 21 years of age.  Must take assignor class.  Duties include: Recruiting, setting up class, assigning and assessing, set up mentoring for younger referees, set up referee meetings and monitor games.  Job description to be posted.
