Guest: Josh Goolsby

Presentation: Josh Goolsby of Four Sevens Drilling presented an overview of the area that his company is leasing and where they currently have drilled sites in the area. His company would like CISA to sign and presented a lease. Members asked him questions regarding the lease, how shares were determined, length of the lease, and impact on our fields. Concerns were voice about potential taxes that CISA would be liable for. An option was presented for Four Sevens to purchase equipment and donate it to CISA. Mr Goolsby will investigate.

Discussion: The board members present then discussed the impact of the lease on CISA. Articles on the Barnett Shale drilling and an article on negotiating a lease were distributed. Further research into the terms of the lease and the tax liability will be pursued and presented at the next meeting. A motion was made to allow Ginny to sign the lease agreement if needed prior to the next meeting, if a majority of members gave telephone agreement prior to the signage. The motion passed.
