CISA Board Meeting

Special Meeting

March 21, 2007

Officer’s present: Ginny Ciriot, Erin Ciriot, Anna Martinez, Mesha Williams, Will Epps, Alex Macias, Eric Daughtry, Carolyn Payne, Jerry Cross, Carey Casey

Call to order: 7:12 PM

Bylaw changes: Bylaws are in order per NTSSA guidelines. They just need some minor changes. Motion to delete Referee Assignor from the board and make it a paid position that reports to the Vice-President seconded and carried. Motion made to add Coaching Director to the board, seconded and carried. Seven bylaw changes will be taken to the AGM. Changes will be posted on the web site and at the fields as soon as possible. Nominations will be held at the April meeting.

AGM: To be held April 15, 2007. President’s address, elections for President, Vice President, Secretary, Registrar, U8 Commissioner, Major League Commissioner, Equipment and Referee Assignor/Coaching Director, depending on the Bylaw changes accepted.

Appreciation party: Coaches and referees are invited to attend. Prizes will be given away in raffle type contest. Motion to accept Dave cooking seconded and approved.

Parks Board: Ginny attended the Parks Board meeting in March. Not a lot of response from the board concerning needs of the organizations. Ginny will attend the April city council meeting, as citizen time in from of the council is limited, a handout will be drafted and made available to council members and the press to show why the youth organization need financial relief.

Field contract: This is still in the air until Kit is officially gone. Bids needed soon.

Field layout: Board members to review field layout and possible changes, keeping in mind cost associated with changes. Once field design is set, then will make an improvement plan (fencing, dirt, grass, walkways, etc…). Will discuss in detail at the April meeting.
