MINUTES OF THE CISA BOARD

CROWLEY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OFFICE

March 13, 2005

 

The meeting was called to order at 5.06 p.m.

 

Officers Present:  David Jones, Marty Stringer, Kim Longenbaugh, Kelly Ortiz, Traci Lee, Alex Macias, Micki Bell, Ed Brungardt and Ginny Ciriot.

 

Treasurer:  We have moved the money to Bank of America in Crowley.  We have a $10,000 CD at 2.23% interest.  Our checking account balance is 27,695.

 

U6 Commissioner:  We have 18 teams, all with coaches.

 

U8 Commissioner:  We have 20 teams.  We need 2 sets of bleachers. 

 

Major League:  We have 16 teams, and they all have coaches.             

 

Registration:  633 Players registered this season.  There is a program to allow online registration that could be ready by the Fall season.

 

Equipment:  There are still coaches requesting uniforms, and we need to look into a way to save on shipping after the main orders are placed.

 

Referee Assignor:   There is a problem with game cancellations by coaches.  The only reason we reschedule games is for soccer tournaments and school events.

 

New Business:

 

Board Elections are coming up in May, and we need to post the descriptions for the open positions on the website.  Send a description to Traci so it can be posted with each position.

 

Motion to spend up to $250, on 2 signs with our web address on them to be hung at the fields, seconded and carried.
