MINUTES OF THE CISA BOARD

CROWLEY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OFFICE

February 2^nd, 2004

The meeting was called to order at 7:34 p.m.

Officers Present: David Jones, Alex Macias, Kim Longenbaugh, Becky Livingston, Ginny Ciriot, Marty Stringer, Kyle Davis, Traci Lee, Kelly Ortiz, and Ed Brungardt.

Motion to approve the minutes, seconded and carried.

President: The Metroplex scheduling meeting is February 29^th.

Vice President: The fact sheets need to be in on the 20^th, the chat room is on the 23^rd. The season will open on March 6^th.

Treasurer: We have a checking account balance of $19, 843. Transfer $10,000 to the land account.

U6 Commissioner: 5 of the 19 coaches are not returning.

U8 Commissioner: Have contacted the coaches and there are 4 not returning.

U10 Commissioner: Have 4 coaches not returning.

Major League Commissioner: All coaches are returning, and we need to contact Arlington about the U16 girls team.

Fundraiser: Looking into the fundraiser for the spring season, and will have something for the February meeting.

Referee Assignor: We had seventeen (17) at the Grade 8 Clinic.

Registration: The drafts will both be held at the CYA complex. U8 and up will be on Monday, February 9^th at 6:30. U7 and U6 will be on Monday, February 16^th at 6:30.

Equipment: This board position is open.

New Business:

We have the Score 2004/2005 catalog on CD, so we can pick the new uniform for next season.

We need to finish the negotiation with the High School, so we can move the city field games for one season.

Motion to accept Kevin Lee as the field maintenance for the Spring Season, seconded and carried.

Discussion:

Motion to spend a maximum of $600 on dirt for the city fields seconded and carried.

Motion to accept the scholarships for 3 families seconded, and carried.

Motion to adjourn at 9:35
