CISA BOARD MEETING

ALL SPORTS COMPLEX

Officer’s present: Ginny Ciriot, Erin Ciriot, Carey Casey, Kim Longenbaugh, Carolyn Payne, Mesha Williams, Will Epps

 

Call to order: 6:38 PM

 

Approval of minutes: Minutes approved and seconded.

 

Field Status Report: Rye grass has been put down and is beginning to sprout.

 

Unfinished business

Electrical: Ginny has made contact with an individual to come to the complex and see what we need and explain the form sent to us by TXU, regarding what we must use to comply with their service.

Advertising: Ginny has created a handout describing types of sponsorships, what each will receive and how they will help the association.  These printouts will be sent out with the Chamber of Commerce newsletter.  The association is also considering an offer from Eagle Postal Service, which allows us to advertise on door hangers, which are hung on neighborhood doors.  Motion made to go ahead with sponsorship seconded and carried.

CYA/HV: Email received from the High Voltage, they don’t have a sprinkler system so they cannot share our concerns involving the water bill.    Contact with CYA has not been made yet.

 

Officer’s/Director’s Reports

VP: No major disciplinary actions have taken place this season, which makes it a good season.  The TOC went well.  A representative from each age group has agreed to the TOC.  U10 boys – Panthers, U10 girls – Little Dogs, U12 boys – Raiders, U12 girls – Stars, U14 boys – Rangers, U14 girls – Heat, U16 boys – Longhorns, U16 girls – Stars.  Will needs coaches to see him at our fields this weekend to pick up coach’s card and signed rosters.

                Treasurer: Not present.  Current balance is $50,600.

                Registrar: Pictures will be sold again Saturday November 11 between 10-2.

Fundraiser: The items we were short on with the fundraiser have been ordered and will be arriving soon.  Top sellers for the fundraiser are as follows.

                1st place – Austin B. – Rangers.  Receives $125.00 gift card

                2nd place – Jackie W. – Flying Frogs.  Receives $100.00 gift card

                3rd place – Nathan F. – Scorpions.  Receives $75.00 gift card

                4th place – Chandler M. – U10 boys Panthers.  Receives $50.00 gift card

                5th place – Matthew O. – Rangers.  Receives $ 25.00 gift card

Equipment: Trophies for the U6 and U8 teams have been ordered and received.  They are at the concession stand for coaches to pick up.

                Commissioner’s

                                U6: Not present.  No report

                                U8: Not present.  No report

                                U10: Not present.  Season has gone well.

ML: Kim Longenbaugh turned in his resignation, effective in December.  U16 Stars won first in the Arlington division.  The U12G Stars won second place in Adivision.  All major league games will be played by the 11th of November.  Including make-up games.

                Referee Assignor: Not present

                Property manager: Not present

 

New Business:

                Field improvements: Consider redesigning layout of fields.  Decision to be made at December meeting.

                Board retreat: To be discussed and decided upon at December meeting.

Sign up advertising: Need to get flyers out to schools in January.  Postcards will be mailed out in December.  Yard signs will also be placed in various places, TBD.
