CYA SPORTS COMPLEX

Field Status Report: Winter rye has been put on a
few fields, however, the lack of rain is causing a lot
of problems. No more rye will be planted
until Mother Nature decides to step in.
Unfinished business:
Seismographic testing: No calls made as of yet.
Timeline: This is a basic set out plan for soccer season of
what goes on at what time. The board
reviewed it.
3-5 year plan: The board discussed how to
improve our complex. We have discussed
adding land, sewer with toilets, lights, electricity, improved concessions,
picnic area, meeting room, fences/backstop, sidewalks, trees/ landscaping,
bleaches set in concrete and awnings.

Treasurer: There is currently 21,000 in checking and
57,000 in savings.
Registrar: NP

Commissioner’s:
U6: All games have been played.
U8: NP
U10: One parent on one of teams
is causing a problem during games and will be dealt with accordingly.
ML: NP
Referee Assignor: Assessors from the North
Texas Association were here recently evaluating our referees, and were
pleased. However, they did not like the
colored shoes they wore. Recertification
classes will be held the week of November 17th. Grade 8 certification will be held the second
week in January. Exact dates TBD.
Property Manager: All sprinklers are now functional, however, no amount of water will help if Mother
Nature does not cooperate. Fields need
more dirt and with a motion to allow Alex $4,000 for dirt and labor costs for
spreading, the motion was seconded and approved.
New Business:
Electricity to
fields: We
are currently trying to get some electricity up and running to the concession
stand and to the sprinkler system.
