CISA Board Meeting

Officer’s present: Will Epps, Ginny Ciriot, Tutter Richardson, Clint Reed, Richard Thompson, Rodney Reyes, Carolyn Payne, Jesse Martinez, Anna Martinez, Jerry Cross, Carey Casey

 

Call to order: 6:09 PM

 

Approval of minutes: Seconded and approved

 

Field Status Report: Josh was not present.

 

 

Unfinished business:

Major League Commissioner: Motion made to create a second Major League Commissioner position, one for the boys and one for the girls.  Motion made by R. Reyes seconded by Jerry Cross.

Advertising: Hollywood Theaters did not seem interested in having the association advertise with them.  Will will look into advertising at the new theater being built.  Motion to use 1 vendor with neon signs, seconded and carried.

            Special July meeting: Minutes from this meeting were seconded and approved.

            TOC:  Will looking into getting something for the participants, probably T-shirts.

Officer’s/ Directors Reports:

                VP:

 

Treasurer:  There is currently $38,000.  End of year report (9-30-07) presented.  It will be sent to North Texas as they do our tax report. CD maturing.  Motion made to roll over for additional 6 months.  Budget for 10/1/07 to 9/30/08 will be emailed to members.

 

Registrar: NP Flyers need to go out before Christmas.  Mesha to contact schools.  Motion made to raise registration fees $15, seconded and approved.  Early registration will be November 3 & 10.  Registration dates are January 12, 19 &26, locations TBA.  Team formation set for February 2, 2-6 PM Coaches meeting set for February 4,5 &7.  Motion for dates seconded and approved.

 

Fundraiser: Picture make ups 10/9 4:30-6:30 for any individual or team photos.  Would like feedback from families.  Fundraiser pickup Sat 10/13 8:45-3:00 in the north parking lot.  Please remind teams.

 

Equipment: Need to order U6 & U8 trophies.  Need correct team names and # on team.  Will monitor U9 and older for 1st and 2nd placement.  Remind coaches to get scores in.

            Commissioner’s:

                        U6: 1 player won’t play, parent asking for refund.

 

                        U8: all good

 

                        U10: 1 team with issues that are being addressed.

 

ML: Having issues with a few teams that are being addressed, one team needing monitoring.

 

            Coaching Director: NP x2

 

Property Manager: Rodney needs to figure out spring layout for fields.  Dirt needed in SW corner of field 9.
