MINUTES OF THE CISA BOARD

CROWLEY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OFFICE

October 4th, 2004

 

The meeting was called to order at 7:48 p.m.

 

Officers Present:  David Jones, Marty Stringer, Kelly Ortiz, Ed Brungardt, Traci Lee, Ginny Ciriot, Alex Macias, and Kim Longenbaugh.

 

Treasurer:  We have a checking account balance of $36,488.  Motion to pay the remaining $3,367.32 of the land payment to pay off the property, seconded and carried.  There are 2 checks to be collected for non-payment.  The parent will receive the notice at the child will not be able to play until payment is received.

 

U6 Commissioner:  The coaches are not returning the goals to the shed at the end of the day.

 

U8 Commissioner:  We have 1 U7 boys team that needs a few more players because they are down to 4 players on the team.

 

U10 Commissioner:  We have issues with this age group that are not being addressed.

 

Major League:  Nothing to report.

 

Registration:  Pictures that were to be taken tonight will be rescheduled due to the weather.  Motion to charge $12.00 to register as an un-rostered player , seconded and carried.  Motion that the Fire Balls can register as a rostered team for $12.00 per child, and the fee will be deducted in the spring, seconded and carried.

 

Fund Raiser:  The sales are estimated at $13,000 right now.

 

Equipment:  One uniform was not ordered.

 

Referee Assignor:  Motion to pay up to $200 for a window for the concession stand, seconded and carried.  Motion to pay for a first aid kit in the concession stand, seconded and carried.

 

Fields:  There are 2 leaks in the sprinkler system that need to be fixed at the fields.  Motion made to continue with the current field maintenance agreement through the end of the year, seconded and carried.

 

Motion to adjourn made at 8:46pm.

 

The next meeting will be held on Monday, November 1st.
