CISA Board Meeting

January 10, 2007

All Sports Complex

Officer’s present: Ginny Ciriot, Will Epps, Anna Martinez, Carey Casey, Mesha Williams, Jerry Cross, Richard Thompson, Eric Daughtry, Erin Ciriot

Coaches: Alex Macias, Clint Reed

Call to order: 6:42 PM

Approval of minutes: Motion to approve minutes with amendments made by Will seconded and carried.

Field status report: Kit was not present. Fields need to be mowed before field day.

Unfinished business:

Electrical: Ginny met with someone to look over the paperwork that TXU had for us. A decision will be made regarding how to go about getting the electrical to the concession stand in the simplest way.

North Texas SAGM: North Texas made some minor by-law change and will begin auditing associations by-laws in order to make sure everything is in order.

CYA/HV: The proposal that Ginny drew up was sent to the other associations. Meeting date TBD.

Advertising/ Sponsorship: Ginny has created a policy sheet for sponsorship along with a cover letter. The cover letter along with the flyer and policy will be sent to select chamber members. Motion to approve policy of sponsorship program made by Erin, seconded and approved. Sponsors will be placed on homepage of website.

Officer’s/Director’s reports:

VP: Executive board member meetings can be held without commissioners being present to discuss issues that have been brought forth regarding A&D. Decision to be made regarding how to score any given game that is ended due to abandonment. Fort Worth Football Club will hold a coaching clinic, time TBD.

Treasurer: There is currently $24,500 in checking.

Registrar: Pictures for the spring season will be done by Photo Magic.

Fundraiser: Not present. Butterbraids approved for this season’s fundraiser.

Equipment: No report

Commissioners:

U6: Received handout from NTSSA.

U8: Received handout from NTSSA.

U10: NP

ML: We welcome our new ML commissioner Jerry Cross. He has now received all information from Kim and will be calling and getting familiar with coaches.

Referee assignor: Not present

Property manager: This is currently an open position. New goals, nets and anchors needed on field 10. Motion to allow Alex to purchase these items made by Will, seconded and approved.

New business:

Nomination/Election Property manager: Ginny nominated Cesar Ortiz. Vote taken, Cesar Ortiz was elected the new property manager.

Sponsorship funds: First sponsorship received. Will purchase equipment for coaches.

CISA AGM/Appreciation Event: The AGM will be held on April 15 @ 3:00PM to be followed by Appreciation party @ 4:00 PM

Announcements:

Next meeting: February 7 (instead of the 14^th)@ 6:30 PM at the All Sports Complex and March 7^th instead of the 14th
